• WINDOW BLIND GAP BLOCKERS

Darker Room, Better Sleep

These window blind gap blockers come in pairs and are self-adhesive.  Simply attach to the window frame or wall either side of window blinds to block the gaps that let light through. Gap blockers can also be used along the top of blinds.

"Light exposure late at night can hinder transitions between sleep cycles, reducing the quality of sleep. Too much light can cause repeated awakenings, interrupting the sleep cycle and reducing time spent in deeper, more restorative sleep stages.” The Sleep Foundation

Better sleep for you and your kids

"Received my blind gap blockers yesterday and just wanted to send you a message to say they are fab. My four year old didn't wake until 7:30 this morning instead of his usual 5:30. Fingers crossed it continues. Thank you so much for a great product! I'll certainly be getting more in the future."

How to Order

To reduce shipping costs, gap blockers longer than 1.2m will come in sections. For example, a 1.8m blocker will consist of two 0.9m lengths. If you prefer your gap blockers uncut, simply choose the £18 shipping option at checkout.

Light can be blocked even more effectively by creating "S" or "C" shaped channels (see installation diagram). To do so, order two pairs of gap blockers and combine as per the diagram in the photos.

Installation Instructions

For gaps at sides of blinds

1.    Clean the surface that the gap blocker will stick to with a damp cloth. Dry well. (This improves adhesion).

2.    Choose appropriate fitting approach from the options, A, B, C, D or E in the installation diagram provided and orient the gap blocker accordingly.

3.    Blocking wider gaps (as shown in figure D on installation diagram) or forming C channels (as shown in figure E on installation diagram) requires an extra pair of gap blockers. Combine gap blockers as shown before installing to window or wall.

4.    You can buy wall plugs from us if you prefer not to use the adhesive tape (perhaps if attaching to wallpaper). Otherwise, remove the tape liner strip

5.    Taking great care, as repositioning is difficult, and starting from the top, position gap blocker as gently as possible.

6.    Once in place, press firmly from top to bottom to improve adhesion.

7.    Repeat on other side.
